The University of Canberra (UC), founded in 1967 in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, is a large public higher education institution. Catering to an enrollment of 10,000-15,000 students, it provides a variety of degrees from pre-bachelor's to doctorates. Admissions are selective, based on students' past academic performance, however, the acceptance rate is high at 90-99%, making UC a least selective institution. International students are welcome to apply. UC also offers several student support facilities and services, including a library, housing, sports facilities, financial aids, study abroad programs, online courses, and administrative services.
