Southern Cross University (SCU), founded in 1994 in Lismore, New South Wales, is a large public higher education institution, with additional branches in Coffs Harbour and Tweed Heads. Offering a broad range of degrees from pre-bachelor's to doctorates, it caters to around 10,000-15,000 students. Its admissions are selective, based on past academic performance, and with an acceptance rate of 70-79%, SCU is considered a moderately selective institution. International students are eligible to apply. SCU offers numerous academic and non-academic facilities and services such as a library, housing, sports facilities, financial aids, study abroad programs, online courses, and administrative services.
