La Trobe University

About the university

La Trobe University (LTU), established in 1964 in Melbourne, Victoria, is a large public higher education institution with additional campuses in Bendigo and Albury-Wodonga. It offers a diverse range of degrees, from pre-bachelor's to doctorates, to a student body of around 20,000-25,000. Despite the selective admission policy involving entrance exams and academic record evaluation, the acceptance rate ranges from 90-99%, thus qualifying as a least selective institution. International students are encouraged to apply. Similar to other universities, it offers auxiliary facilities and services such as library access, student housing, sports facilities, financial assistance programs, study abroad opportunities, and administrative services.
