La Trobe University (LTU), established in 1964 in Melbourne, Victoria, is a large public higher education institution with additional campuses in Bendigo and Albury-Wodonga. It offers a diverse range of degrees, from pre-bachelor's to doctorates, to a student body of around 20,000-25,000. Despite the selective admission policy involving entrance exams and academic record evaluation, the acceptance rate ranges from 90-99%, thus qualifying as a least selective institution.
